Our Employee Networks

We have a growing family of employee inclusion networks who work together to influence and support our efforts to become a more diverse and inclusive organisation.  
​​​​​​​The Networks are inclusive groups and are open to all employees across Sopra Steria, who either identify with or are allies of the network purpose.  Each network has a passionate Executive sponsor who supports the development of the group and champions their agenda at senior levels.

Disability in Recruitment We held a roundtable discussion which was facilitated by our Internal Recruitment team, focussing on Disability in Recruitment and what more Sopra Steria can do to create a more inclusive recruitment process.

International Womens Day Each year, Sopra Steria runs a number of events to mark International Womens day with guest speakers and events across our UK offices.

Harassment and Bullying - Our Zero Tolerance Pledge
We call on our leaders, managers and all colleagues to commit to the zero tolerance pledge and work together to stamp out bullying and offensive behaviour in our workplace.

Committing to the zero tolerance pledge means that:
  • We will not tolerate bullying, harassment or discrimination of any kind
  • We will always treat colleagues with dignity and respect
  • We will call out insensitive behaviour when we witness it and help to educate colleagues on what is and isn't acceptable
  • We will be receptive to feedback on our own behaviour
  • We will lead by example and encourage colleagues to speak out when they witness offensive behaviour of any kind
  • We will strive to learn more about the experiences of others, particularly those from minority groups
Hear from our network chairs I wanted to work within the LGBT+ network community to enhance awareness of the LGBT+ activities and to support colleagues who may have questions around policies, events and the wider LGBT+ community. Co-Chairing the network community with Chris, will bring our collective knowledge, experience and passion to the community, and hopefully we will have lots of fun along the way.

I have always been passionate about helping to engender a thriving, diverse, representative workplace where culture, race and difference of any kind is acknowledged, accepted, encouraged and celebrated.

I am looking forward to working with my fellow Ethnic Diversity Network Co-Chairs, our Network members and all our colleagues throughout the Group, and the other Diversity Networks.

Hear from our network chairs I was honoured to be asked to be the first Chairperson for our Race, Religion and Belief Network and, now, the Multi-Faith Network.  I believe a key success factor for our Network will be to take this seriously, learn from each other whilst supporting initiatives and making sure we have fun doing the work.
