What led you to this role?
I previously worked in the Management Information (MI) & Systems team, a role which I really enjoyed. However, I didn’t feel there were opportunities to progress in line with my goals. The role I'm doing now has given me the opportunity to achieve my target of becoming a Power BI Developer, and achieve my management goals.
Has your experience of working here matched what you were expecting when you first joined?
My expectations have been exceeded during my time here. I’ve been able to demonstrate my capabilities, which have been rewarded with opportunities to achieve my goals, and management have shown a clear interest in my career progression.
What do you think makes NHS SBS different from other companies in the industry?
In my experience, the main difference has been the people that I work with/for. I feel management has a vested interest in making this a Great Place to Work which therefore makes employees more productive in taking the company forward.
Would you recommend working here to others?
I would recommend others to work here, and I actively encourage friends and former colleagues to search for roles within the business. Since joining NHS SBS, I’ve been able to achieve my career prospects with full support from management, who consistently demonstrate an interest in progression. NHS SBS also offer key benefits, such as the blue light discount card and employee recognition, which make this a very rewarding place to work.
