Here at SSCL, we have a strong commitment to social value. We consider how our business activities can positively contribute to the social, economic, and environmental wellbeing of our employees, our local communities, as well as the UK society.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do, and we aim to have a positive impact on the economy, society and the environment.
It’s true to say that at SSCL we believe that sustainability is a way of life and doing good business. This is why it’s important that we continue to embed sustainability at the heart of our business – considering the environmental impact of our policies, decisions and actions.

Making a difference
Our Tech for Good programme supports volunteering and fundraising, bringing together all SSCL charity and fundraising activities into one space. It captures all the great work we already do across SSCL. We have also joined forces with onHand, an app that allows people to choose from a range of local communities volunteering opportunities.
Our people receive three paid days per year to volunteer and we automatically match individual fundraisers.
