Empathy in action

Our NHS SBS teams worked tirelessly to help set up the London and Manchester Nightingale hospitals. Drawing on its extensive market knowledge and supplier relationships, the procurement team helped to ensure the new hospitals got what they needed to be ready for opening.

Excellence in action

Amidst record-breaking demand, our teams maintained running order of Tesco's delivery van scheduling system, which manages the logistics of online grocery shopping across central Europe. The first week of lockdown saw an increase of 4,000 online orders per minute, to 22,000 orders, and our teams worked tirelessly to successfully stabilise the system.

Respect in action

SSCL pays 550,000 Defence, Government and Police Employees each month and pays the pensions for around 850,000 military veterans - touching the lives of over a million people who serve their countries and communities.

Community in action

We launched the Tech for Good Hub to support fundraising and volunteering in our local communities. This has led to a 500% increase in employees participating in community engagement activities, raising over £100,000, for more than 200 charities in 2020. We continue to encourage our people to make a difference in their communities every day.
