Women’s Inclusive Network
Founded by Dame Stephanie "Steve" Shirley in the 1960s, we have always been advocates of gender balance and supporting women to reach their full potential. In fact, our Women’s Inclusive Network (WIN) is dedicated to the cause and encourages people of all genders to get involved.

Improving female representation is a key pillar of our diversity and inclusion strategy. We're committed to ensuring greater diversity in recruitment and selection, doing more to nurture and grow our existing talent pool and promote an inclusive culture where everyone can thrive.

We offer a Female Mentoring programme and are committed to provide mentoring support to any interested female colleague, either through a one-to-one mentoring relationship or through a mentoring circle. As part of this programme, colleagues are either mentored internally or as part of the 30% Club Cross-Company Mentoring programme
We aim to significantly improve the number of women at middle and senior levels across our UK businesses. Our structured talent programmes support colleagues in developing a wide range of skills, as well as the mindset and confidence to progress into leadership.
We are very open to flexible working and encourage discussions on flexible working arrangements for any of our advertised roles.
We offer enhanced maternity and adoption pay and have extended our paid carers and compassionate leave.
We have signed the Menopause Workplace Pledge and introduced guidance and support for anyone experiencing menopausal symptoms at work. An internal Menopause Support Community has been created to share personal experiences and tips with peers. Our people are also able to use the Peppy app to access free advice and resources from healthcare professionals on the topics of menopause, fertility and new baby.
We have a very active Women’s Inclusive Network (WIN), offering a safe space to build relationships, expand professional networks and be inspired by colleagues. WIN also works closely with the Company leadership to support diversity initiatives and strengthen engagement with female colleagues.
The Young Women's Community has been established as a sub-group of WIN to prodive opportunities for networking, career and skills development.
We're signatories of the Tech Talent Charter and participate in annual research to drive greater gender inclusion in technology roles across the industry.
All leaders, managers and colleagues at Sopra Steria must commit to our Zero Tolerance Pledge, to work together to address bullying, offensive and insensitive behaviour of any kind. This pledge includes mandatory training for all employees on equality, diversity and bullying and harassment.
Did you know? We run Women’s Coaching Cafés to provide a confidential forum to obtain career, developmental and networking support.
Race and Culture Network
We know that being inclusive and diverse is an important part of being a great place to work. Our Race and Culture Network includes our Black Employee Community and our Multi-Faith Community. These communities operate together to provide a safe and supportive environment for everyone across the business to connect, share and learn about the cultures, perspectives and issues of colleagues from different backgrounds.

Disability Network
We actively use innovative recruitment, job adaptation, training, and awareness-raising initiatives to make sure we attract and retain great people. Our inclusive network provides support, advice, and a voice for employees with disabilities.

Neurodiversity Network
Our inclusive culture celebrates individual differences to help people thrive and succeed in our workplace. This network brings people together to ensure the organisation caters to differing needs.

This is an inclusive space for colleagues looking for connection and support while balancing work with caring for a loved one or friend.
Did you know? Each network has a passionate Executive sponsor who supports the development of the group and champions their agenda at senior levels.
PLUS Network
Celebrating Pride, Love, Unity, and Support, PLUS aims to create a welcome and supportive community for people of all sexual orientations and gender identities at Sopra Steria.
"I wanted to work within the PLUS Network to enhance awareness of the LGBTQIA+ activities and to support colleagues who may have questions around policies, events, and the wider LGBTQIA+ community. Armed Forces Community
The Armed Forces equip individuals with exceptional training, resourcefulness, and transferable skills – all fantastic attributes in an employee! But it can be difficult to transition from a services environment to civilian roles. This network recognises and embraces the potential of veterans, reservists, cadet instructors and serving spouses.
Did you know? We provide ten days of paid leave for Reservists to serve with their unit, in recognition of the important work that this community carries out for our country.
